What do others have to say about their Perfect Paws Journey?

"Taz has been fantastic in helping us with training tips for Clara. Her guidance has made a big difference—Clara now enjoys being in her crate and responds well to basic commands like sit and lay down. We're currently working on heel and focus, and I'm already seeing progress. Looking forward to continuing the training journey with Taz."

Outstanding Dog Trainer

Taz has been amazing with my dog, Reggie, After struggling with getting Reggie in the crate and basic obedience, I saw a huge improvement in just the first session. Taz is very knowledgeable, patient, and clearly loves what she does. Training was effective, positive, and tailored to mine and Reggies needs. I highly recommend Taz to anyone looking for real results and a better bond with their dog!"

"Taz is hands down the best decision we made for our 10 month Old English Sheepdog puppy, as we felt completely out of our depth - Maple had such a high prey drive, such high energy and we were constantly struggling to get her attention. Since our 1:1 training sessions with Taz, Maple's entire demeanour has transformed, she is able to control her impulses and actually focus her attention on us, only after 3 sessions! We have chosen a package course of puppy training and it is genuinely invaluable!!

I spent a lot of years underestimating how clever dogs actually are, and after learning with Taz how their brains work, I quickly realised that us humans are the silly ones!

Thank you for everything you have taught us so far Taz - we are so looking forward to the rest of our sessions!"

After just a few training sessions starting with things we do in the house our little girl Rubie enjoys her walks. She was such an anxious girl out walking barking at everything and everyone. She goes out more relaxed, looks happy and when barks will soon stop with a handful of treats. Thank you Taz the walks are becoming so much more calmer and pleasant to do. Hard work pays off. She also has learnt not to respond to the door bell a lot calmer. Looking forward to some more training sessions. She looks so happy and eager to learn.

So our two canines were struggling to manage emotions whenever anyone dared to knock on the door. I asked Taz for help and difference in such a short time had been incredible. Still working on the barking with Lola but shes happy to sit on her bed and wait for people to approach her as opposed to her running to the door at 100mph! Nando is still a work in progress but hes much older and completely scatty. That said hes definitely improving proving you can teach an old dog new tricks! In addition Lola has taken to crate training amazingly and its one of her favourite spaces now. Thank you Taz

We cannot recommend Perfect Paws and the fantastic Taz for the puppy training classes for our Shih Tzu Louie. Taz was incredibly informative and reassuring. The week on week confidence that we saw grow in our Louie was fenonmoninal. The amount of lovely compliments we have received saying how much of a lovely dog Louie is, is a credit to the wonderful guidance and support of our trainer Taz. I cannot recommend Taz and Perfect Paws enough! Thank you xxx

I contact Perfect Paws (Taz) in November 2025 as we were moving to the area and needed some help with our two Sproodles who were 5 years old. One of them was nervous inside the house and the other outside and reacted to dogs which then started the other one off and they ended up jumping all over each other while I was trying to control them. We did 6 training sessions with Taz with both of them focusing on building confidence and distraction. Six training sessions later they are very different and were able to interact with Taz’s dogs without any difficult and not getting agitated at all. So they don’t react as much now and there is an occasional reaction but usually if someone suddenly appears or is a certain type of dog. Thank you Taz for your help.
